Pablo Picasso Biography and Works
Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter of 19th century. He was the
most famous painter of his times. He was born in Malaga, Spain
on 25th October 1881. His father Jose Ruiz y Blasco was also a
painter arts professor in the School of Crafts. Pablo Picasso
got the initial training of painting from his father only. He
once joined the Academy of arts in Madrid but after a year he
left the academy.
!n the year 1900 Pablo Picasso had visited Paris for the
first time. He was so fascinated by the beauty of the city that
he stayed there only . One of his friend Max Jacob gave him the
shelter in his house. Picasso was not financially well at that
time so he worked hard to earn his living. He used to make
paintings in night also. Sometimes he burn his paintings to get
some fire in winters.
Pablo Picasso begin his career in painting in 1894 with a
painting called ‘The first Communion’ . In this painting he
featured his sister Lola. He made an another painting called ‘
Potrait of Aunt Pepa’ that gave him lots of popularity and
fame.
